Empowering Communities Through Meaningful Initiatives

At the India Centre for Culture and Creativity (ICCC), our commitment extends beyond cultural exchange and creative innovation. As a non-profit organization based in Belgium, we believe in the power of philanthropy and social responsibility to uplift communities and create lasting impact. Through our charity activities, we support causes that promote health, education, equality, and well-being, both in India and beyond.

Since our inception, ICCC has raised over €12,000, which has gone directly toward funding various projects and supporting organizations making a difference in the lives of vulnerable communities. Our charity initiatives focus on improving the quality of life for people in need, advocating for social change, and contributing to global humanitarian efforts.

ICCC organizes various events and activities to raise funds for these charity initiatives. From cultural festivals to auctions, benefit dinners, and community drives, we leverage the power of art, creativity, and community spirit to generate support for meaningful causes.

Red Cross: Through our fundraising efforts, we have supported the Red Cross in their mission to provide disaster relief and healthcare services to those in crisis.

UNICEF: We have contributed to UNICEF’s initiatives aimed at improving child welfare, education, and health care in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

Kinderkanker Fonds: Our charity activities have also supported the Kinderkanker Fonds, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children battling cancer, funding research, and offering support to families affected by childhood cancer.

 Building Toilets and providing Clean Water for School children in India

Access to sanitation is a basic human right, but many communities, especially in rural India, still lack adequate facilities. In response to this pressing issue, ICCC has funded a project to build toilets in schools for children in underserved regions. This initiative that also includes the provision of clean water, which not only improves hygiene and health outcomes for students but also helps increase school attendance and encourage better education outcomes for young girls and boys.  

Providing Bicycles for Girls in India

Access to education is a critical factor in empowering women and girls. However, many young girls in rural India face challenges in attending school due to distance and lack of transportation. ICCC funded a project that provided bicycles to girls in India, helping them travel safely and independently to school. This initiative has had a transformative impact, enabling these girls to stay in school, continue their education, and open doors to brighter futures.
